Tim Reis is the Founder and President of LI Tech Solutions, a Long Island-based managed IT services and cybersecurity company. With more than 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and managed services, he helps businesses design secure, scalable technology environments while simplifying day-to-day IT operations.
Tim founded LI Tech Solutions in 2014 after building his career as a systems engineer and infrastructure specialist supporting organizations ranging from small businesses to publicly traded companies. Alongside leading LI Tech Solutions, he previously served as Infrastructure Team Lead at TradeZero, where he helped scale the company's hybrid cloud infrastructure, supported international Microsoft 365 deployments, introduced ITIL change management processes, led security initiatives, and prepared infrastructure for a public market transaction. Earlier in his career, he spent more than seven years as a Systems Engineer at Helix Systems, developing expertise in IT automation, endpoint management, virtualization, Microsoft technologies, networking, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
His areas of expertise include managed IT services, cybersecurity, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Apple device management (MDM), HIPAA compliance, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, cloud infrastructure, endpoint security, and IT automation. Under his leadership, LI Tech Solutions has become a trusted technology partner for healthcare organizations, law firms, nonprofit organizations, laboratories, educational institutions, and small to mid-sized businesses throughout Long Island and the New York metropolitan area.
Tim earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Farmingdale State College. He believes technology should reduce complexity rather than create it, and he leads with a consultative, engineering-first approach that prioritizes practical solutions, long-term partnerships, and measurable business outcomes over one-size-fits-all IT services.
